Standing Side-Body Stretch

For opening space between ribs and hips.

 

Stand with your back to a wall.
Make sure your heels, buttocks, shoulders and head touch the wall.
Put your feet as wide apart as you can,
Raise one arm above your head,
Make sure the arm, shoulder and hand are close to the wall,
Reach the raised hand upwards toward the ceiling and then over your head to the opposite side,
Keep your heels, buttocks, shoulders and head touching the wall.
Hold for a few seconds,
Repeat as desired.
Switch sides.

 

Fine tuning: Open and lengthen the side you are stretching and try not to compress the side you are bending towards.
